01 Recruiting a Party
Shout an LFM/LFP in chat and a level-matched party assembles itself: for every role you call for, a combat phantom spawns just out of sight, jogs over, asks for an invite, and joins you. One shout can fill the whole party (up to 8 members).
Basic shout
Start the shout with any of lfm lfp lf need, then list roles (with optional counts). Plurals and comma lists parse fine.
Roles you can call for
| Keyword | Spawns |
|---|---|
| tank | Knight-class tank — actively holds threat (taunts, yanks mobs off squishies), carries a shield. |
| warrior melee | Melee damage dealer with a best-in-grade sword. |
| archer | Bow damage from range, with soulshots and arrows. |
| dagger | Dagger damage dealer. |
| nuker mage | Caster DPS — holds at cast range and nukes, breaks off to recharge when out of MP. |
| healer | Elder-kit healer with Resurrection — heals the party and battle-rezzes the fallen. |
| buffer prophet | Prophet-kit buffer — keeps the whole party buffed. |
| singer | Swordsinger — melee plus party songs. |
| dancer | Bladedancer — dual-wield melee plus party dances. |
| dd dps | A random damage role — use it for a varied comp. |
Ask for an exact class or level
Name the occupation
Any 2nd-class+ occupation is recognised by name — lfm 1 Shillien Elder, lfm gladiator + hawkeye, lfm 1 Dark Avenger. Base/1st-class words fall through to a level-appropriate generic role.
Set the level
Add lvl N and members spawn at that level instead of matching you — lfm 1 buffer lvl 57. Leave it off and they arrive at your exact level.
02 Party Commands
Once they've joined, drive the party from whisper or party chat. A command typed in party chat hits every member at once; free-form chatter gets a natural reply from just one member. All of these work with the brain off (deterministic keyword parsing).
| Say | What it does |
|---|---|
| assist | Default mode — every member focus-fires your current target, firing skills and soulshots through it. |
| attack freely | Flips a member to hunt nearby mobs on its own; it leashes back if it strays. |
| follow | Stops what it's doing and follows you. |
| hold stop | Stand down / stop attacking. |
| gather | Regroup on you. |
| go to <place>tp <place> | Members travel to a named gatekeeper spot and wait there for you — the party regroups at that destination. |
| status | Members report in. |
| brb | Extends the grace window so members don't despawn if you teleport away or briefly log off. |
| bye disband | Dismiss the party — members despawn. |
Camp & pull — park a self-running kill camp
Plant a fixed camp and let the party farm a spot while you step back (or jump in yourself).
| Say | What it does |
|---|---|
| camp here | Plants a camp at your position. The party stops following you, rests between fights, and kills only what's brought to it. |
| <name> pull<name> pull 3 | Makes that member the puller — it fetches mobs back to camp (optionally a set number). |
| stop pulling | Keeps the camp but the puller goes passive. |
| break camp | Ends the camp. Any follow / assist / go to X / stop ends it too. |
03 Raid Orders
Against a raid boss, the party holds instead of auto-attacking, so your DPS can't rip the boss off the tank at the pull. You call the opening.
| Order | What it does |
|---|---|
| tank attacktank pull · tank go · tank engage · pull it · initiate | The tank engages first; the rest of the party is released to assist the moment the tank has the boss's threat. |
| all attackeveryone attack · all in · open fire · burn it | Everyone engages the raid immediately, skipping the tank-initiate. |
| hold firehold dps · wait for tank · fall back · back off | Re-arm the hold mid-fight. Once released, the party can freely swap between the boss and its adds. |
04 Support & Buffs
On-demand orders for your healers, buffers and songsters — whisper or party chat, brain off. Members already arrive pre-buffed with their full archetype kit, and the buffer maintains it; these let you top up or redirect on the fly.
| Say | What it does |
|---|---|
| buff me rebuff | Recasts the full archetype kit on you, one buff per tick. |
| buff allbuff the party | Fully buffs every party member. |
| buff <name> | Fully buffs one named member (e.g. the tank). |
| <healer> buff <target> | Address a specific support by name to make only that one buff that target. |
| heal me | Heals you once, even at full HP. |
| res | Raises a fallen member (real players first, then dead bots — corpses persist ~60s for battle-res). |
| songs dance | Out of combat, runs the Swordsinger/Bladedancer song & dance rotation once (it's fight-time only otherwise, to save MP). |
05 Support Buddies
A buddy is a personal support phantom you party as your own permanent buffer/healer — so a solo class can still tackle group content. Unlike a recruited party, a buddy binds to you instead of hunting, and you can run several at once.
The three roles
Elven Elder
Mage buffs, heals and Recharge.
Prophet
The fighter buff kit.
Warcryer
The Orc buff kit.
All three carry a Heal, so any buddy can top you up. Place them at level 40+ for a real 2nd-class kit. Party a Prophet + Elder + Warcryer together for full coverage.
Partying one up
- Find a buddy where it idles (they spawn/despawn by your proximity) and whisper it.
- Send it a party invite — it auto-accepts and binds as your buddy.
- It now keeps you (and itself) buffed, heals you below ~50%, follows you, and watches its own MP.
Driving it
Whisper or party chat both work. A buddy teleports to a named gatekeeper destination on request (confirm-first: an explicit order goes immediately, a suggestion waits for your yes), warns you when it's low on MP, and sits to recover when it's safe. With the brain on it also chats — even abbreviations like roa → Ruins of Agony are understood.
06 The FPC Editor
A visual, browser-based editor for the whole fake-population system — no build step, no dependencies. Just open tools/fpc-editor/index.html in a browser, point it at your game/data folder, and edit the world on a map.
Three modes
NPC fake players
The town/hunting NPC populations — procedural identities and functional private shops. Draw their zones and walking routes on the map, edit profiles and assignments in-tool.
Phantoms
The auto-hunting field phantoms and support buddies (set a buddy's role from the dropdown). Includes a Friends panel: add a friend by name/class and it spawns an always-online, befriended phantom with a stable persona.
Raid bosses
A config editor for the global raid multipliers in config/NPC.ini — P.Atk, M.Atk, P.Def, M.Def, HP-regen, MP-regen (percent; 100 = retail, lower = weaker). Scales all raids at once, live effect readout per row.
Zones, routes & art
Draw / reverse / clear patrol routes and zone polygons, load the world map or region images as a backdrop, and do a quick 2-click map calibration so game coordinates line up.
Workflow
- Open your data folder — the editor reads and writes the XML in game/data directly.
- Edit visually on the map — populations, routes, zones, friends, or raid multipliers.
- Save XML, then copy the file to your live server's game/data/.
- Apply it in-game with //reloadfakeplayers — no restart needed.
07 Admin Commands
Type these in the game chat as a Game Master to tune and test the world live — no restart, no jar rebuild for most of them. Several also have a button panel under //admin → Server.
Rates
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| //rates | Opens the Rates panel (XP/SP/adena/drop/spoil…). Changes apply live and are written back to Rates.ini immediately. |
| //setrate xp 5 | Set a single rate directly from chat. |
Reloads
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| //reload | The reload panel — standard Mobius reloads plus a Living World section. |
| //reloadfakeplayers | FPC World — despawns all managed bots, re-parses FakePlayerBehavior.xml, and redeploys fresh (~15s). The step after every editor save. |
| //reload fakeplayerchat | FPC Chat — reloads the canned chat lines instantly, no bot disruption. |
| //phantom reload | Re-reads PhantomPopulations.xml live (populations + friend orders). Note: recruited parties/buddies don't respawn from this. |
Phantoms
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| //phantom spawn [count] [level] | Spawn field phantoms manually. |
| //phantom clear | Despawn all phantoms. |
| //phantom count | Show the active phantom count. |
| //phantom debug [on|off] | Toggle the raid combat trace (boss aggro / member HP-MP-action / taunt / heal / res / death to the console). Raid-only, silent during farming. |
Routes & testing
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
| //record_route <name> | Start recording bot waypoints as you walk (~150-unit intervals). |
| //stop_route | Stop recording and save to data/routes/<name>.xml. |
| //list_routes | List all saved named routes. |
| //fakechat <player> <fpcname> <message> | Trigger a bot's response to a player — for testing the chat brain. |
